“Color” diet: detailed menu

Mentioned diet is based on particular color of food, which one is to eat on each day of the diet. Such dietary regime takes 7 days to lose 3 kilograms of excess weight. “Color” diet is popular because its followers don’t suffer from hunger. What one should eat on each day of “color” diet?

Color diet

The first day is white. Food of white color is allowed to eat – dairy products, potatoes, whitefish (Alaska Pollock, plaice), chicken breast, egg white, rice, kidney beans, cauliflower, cabbage, onion, garlic, nuts, bananas, white currants.

The second day is red. One should eat food of red color – lean meat, beets, read beans, tomato, sweet peppers, red currants, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, cherries, grapes and apples.

The third day is green. Green beans, vegetable marrow, cucumbers, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, green peas, kiwis, native limes, green apples, greens (spinach, sorrel, lettuce and vegetable herbs) are allowed to eat.

The fourth day of diet is orange. Food of orange color is permitted – salmon, shrimps, pumpkins, carrots, lentils, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, persimmons, apricots and sea-buckthorn.

The fifth day is violet. Plums, black currants, mushrooms, black grapes, eggplants, beans, blackberries, red cabbage and variety meat (beef liver, chicken heats and stomach) are allowed to eat.

The sixth day is yellow. Such products as maize, millet, yolks, cheeses, yellow sweet peppers, ripe vegetable marrows, limes, pineapples, honey and pears are preferable.

The seventh day is clear or foodless. One should drink herbal tea and water.

“Color” diet followers are to eat from small dishes 6-7 times a day and not to overeat. Boiled or raw products are preferable. Sweets, starchy foods and alcohol are to be avoided.
