Where to spend honeymoon?

In front of you is one of the most memorable events in your life – the wedding. Preparatory work is boiling, bubbling. So many troubles: the registry office, a restaurant, the toaster … You must take into account everything and do not forget anything. And, most importantly – do not forget about yourselves – to plan an unforgettable honeymoon.

Where to spend honeymoon

You need to approach very seriously to the choice of the place. It is necessary to decide what you want in the first place on the trip. Most newlyweds dream that their honeymoon would be the romantic journey. For this purpose the best choice is European capitals – Paris and Rome.

Paris will suit lovers who want to enjoy each other in a beautiful and romantic atmosphere. There is nowhere to hurry and there is an opportunity to walk hand in hand.

Book yourself a room with a balcony and a view on one of the tree-lined boulevards of Paris. You will have the opportunity to meet morning with your loved one, looking at the wakening up city. By the way, do not forget to say when booking that you are newlyweds as many hotels do a special discount.

During the day you can stroll along the banks of the Seine. Quay is a fairly wide street. Along it there are cafes and restaurants. As well as a large number of stalls and shops where you can buy souvenirs of the trip. 37 bridges are spanned through Seine. Many of them are ‘decorated’ with the numerous locks with lovers’ names. Bring a lock with you. And then you also will be able to fix it on one of the bridges, as a symbol of your love. Just do not forget to throw the key into the river.

You can walk along the promenade in the evening or late at night one more time. In the light of lanterns and lamps, illuminating houses and bridges, quay looks completely different than during the day. And the rest of your trip you will be accompanied by music which is played by street musicians.

River Seine can ‘give’ you another romantic memory – a boat trip. You can hire a boat on one of the special piers. Paris will open in front of you from a different angle. Most boaters have such a route, so you can see the most famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the palace of the French kings, etc.

Of course, a trip to Paris cannot be considered valid, if you do not visit the Eiffel Tower – the card of France and one of the most romantic places in the world. Give each other a romantic date on its observation deck. Continue date at the restaurant, which is located directly below the tower.

In this city, there is a possibility not only to plunge into the atmosphere of romance, but also to touch the antiquity. So Rome will suit the couple who want to not only enjoy each other’s company, but also to learn something new.

Walking through the center of Rome, you will be immersed in one and then in another era. Styles of architecture will be flashing in front of you, as a magazine picture. And the view of majestic buildings will giddy. But do not devote all the time only to the central part of the city. Small streets of Rome will amaze you not less. Here you’ll get lost in the small courtyards and back streets; you will find a small churches right in the yards of homes. And if you’re paying attention, you will find ‘fragments’ of ancientry which are not inferior to the Coliseum.

In Rome there are also recognized romantic places:

Roman lovers also have a tradition to hang the lock on the bridge and throw the key into the river; for that they have chosen the Milvian Bridge.

Trevi Fountain. All tourists are told of the magic properties of the fountain – if make a wish when standing next to the fountain, it will come true. And who, if not the newlyweds, should make a wish and dream?

Aventine hill. You can come here if you want to relax from the hectic Roman streets and stay in silence. Here is cozy orange garden. The hill, like the observation deck, offers a beautiful view of Rome.
